Want To Mentor a Youth in Foster Care?

Do YOU believe that NO Child should go through Foster Care alone and wish you could do something about it? Now you can by becoming a foster youth mentor! If you are at least 25-years-old, reside in the Mahoning Valley, can pass a background/driving record check and drug test, and can volunteer at least six hours a month for one year, we invite you to come learn more about IGNITE!

Ordinary things like forming safe and lasting relationships, problem solving, goal setting, applying for college, and setting boundaries can be a great challenge for foster youth.

A caring and well-trained mentor can inspire and guide a foster youth ages 12-17, or a former foster youth ages 18-21, to pursue a productive future and reach his of her full potential.
